What to bring to class

When you attend one of my training classes, you will be required to bring a few items:

1) Vaccination records (for puppies, it must show that they have received at least the first round of shots - for older dogs, they must be current)

2) Name address and phone number of your veterinarian.

3) A collar - leather or nylon collar either belt-buckle type or sturdy plastic (no harnesses!) Head collars such as the Gentle Leader are fine.

4) A leash - leather or nylon 4-6 ft.leash (no retractable leashes!)

5) Treats - at least 200 bite sized treats that your dog will be motivated to work for. For inexpensive treat ideas see HERE.

6) I recommend that everyone that will be training the dog attend class - Husband, wife, kids, etc.

7) A positive attitude and willingness to learn!

8) Pen and paper - unless you have a mind like a steel trap, you may forget some important information taught in class. I encourage you to take notes during the presentation, ask questions and write down the answers.

I strongly suggest not feeding your dog for several hours before each class, also a brisk walk an hour before class time will drain any nervous energy and build his/her appetite.

If you haven't registered for class yet, call (918) 519-0878 and ask for Paul.
